Aimie Atkinson
Aimie Atkinson is a British actor, singer, songwriter and dancer born in Stevenage in 1987. She is well-known for her fantastic performance as Katherine Howard in the original cast of “Six”.
She went on to make a name for herself after she applied to the BBC Radio 2 Voice of Musical Theatre competition. She won the amateur contest and participated in the finals to win that too. Aimie became a full-time stage actress at the age of 19. Her first time was in Days of Hope (King’s Head Theatre).
Training:
Aimie went to the Arts Educational School and the Royal Academy of Music.
Award:
She is the winner of the BBC Voice of Musical Theatre Award and the Craig Dodd Award for Best Supporting Actress.

She had many theatre credits to her name, including Days of Hope (2007); Eurobeat (2007); Zorro the Musical (2008); Cannibal! The Musical (2008); The Wizard of Oz (2008); Never Forget (2009); Blockbuster (2010); Legacy Falls (2010); Dirty Dancing (2011); Steel Pier (2012); Carnaby Street (2013); Legally Blonde (2015); In the Heights (2015-16) and Six the Musical (2017-19).
Some of her noteworthy roles include Katherine Howard (Six the Musical); Daniela (In the Heights); Serena (Legally Blonde); Princess Jasmine (Aladdin) and Penny Lane (Carnaby Street).

Aimie has appeared on several television programmes like Doctors (BBC); American Express Commercial; Snow White Documentary “Seven Dwarfs” (Channel 4); Snow White I-dents Christmas Special (GMTV); Search for a Musical Theatre Star, A Musical Star is Born (BBC Wales).
Music:
Step Inside of Love (debut album); I Feel The Love and Postman and The Poet. She has also sung in Six The Musical’s studio cast recording and Kurt Weill’s One Touch of Venus.
Her concert performances include Stephen Sondheim’s 70th Birthday Concert, and Great British Musical (What’s On Stage Awards).
