Alex Given

Alex Given is a professional actor working in theatre. He received his training in Patrick Studios Australia, graduating with a Fulltime Dance course & Musical Theatre course in 2012. In 2020, he was to appear in Andrew Wrights’ Singin’ In The Rain at Sadler’s Wells, but the COVID-19 pandemic postponed it.

 

Theatre:

Alex has worked in several musicals to date. He has mostly been involved with The Production Company and acquiring credits like an ensemble in Dean Bryant’s Anything Goes (2011), ensemble in Gale Edwards’ Guys And Dolls (2014), ensemble in Roger Hodgman’s Nice Work If You Can Get It (2015), Simon Dee/ensemble in Gary Young’s Georgy Girl: The Seekers Musical (2016), Tom Springfield/ensemble in Jason Langley’s Dusty: The Musical (2017), ensemble in Chris Parker’s Oklahoma (2018), and ensemble/Mark Herron in Jason Langley’s The Boy From Oz (2018).

He was an ensemble in Roger Hodgman’s Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (TML Enterprises, 2012), ensemble in Bartlett Sher’s South Pacific (Opera Australia, 2013), A-Rab in Gale Edwards’ West Side Story (2015), Rory West in Baz Luhrmann’s Strictly Ballroom The Musical (Global Creatures, 2014), ensemble in Dame Julie Andrews’ My Fair Lady (Opera Australia, 2016), and ensemble/cover Mckinley in The Book Of Mormon (2019).
