Amandla Elynah

Amandla Elynah is a professional Musical Theatre based in London. She graduated with a BA in Musical Theatre from the Institute of the Arts Barcelona in 2017 and also has a BTEC National Diploma in Acting from Harlow College. Amandla recently appeared in TINA: The Tina Turner Musical from 2019 to March 2020 at the Aldwych Theatre in London’s West End.

Her other credits include performing as a Swing in Motown: The Musical at the Shaftesbury Theatre (West End, 2018-2019), and while training at the IAB, Wendla in Nikki Laurence’s Spring Awakening (2016), Ginny in Nikki Laurence’s The Pajama Game (2016) and Ensemble in Saturday Night Fever (2015). Amandla has also played Rita in At Home Abroad (Afro-British TV series, 2013), Effie White in Katie Kerr’s DreamGirls at Her Majesty’s Theatre, London (2012), and Motormouth Maybelle in Hairspray (2012). At the Stewards Academy, Essex, she performed as Sarah in Our House (2011), Lorraine in All Shook Up (2010), Yuppie Dancer in We Will Rock You (2009), Balthasar in Romeo And Juliet (2009) and Main Dancer in Back 2 The 80’s (2008).
