Ashlee Irish
Ashlee Irish is a London-based stage and screen actor. Graduating in 2017, the British performer has entered the theatre scene professionally. Earlier, he has been part of television and radio shows. His dancing skills include Ballet, Street Jazz, Tap, Pas de Deux and Jazz dancing. He is soon to appear in Hello, Dolly! as part of the cast.
Training:
He completed his 3-year BA Honours degree (2014-17) from the Arts Educational Schools, London.
Theatre:
Upon graduating, Irish played the role of Cover C.C White, Cover Jimmy Early and Ensemble in Casey Nicholaw’s Dreamgirls London (Sonia Friedman Productions, 2018); Ronnie Turner in Phyllida Lloyd’s Tina: The Musical (Stage Entertainment, 2019); Ensemble in John Rando’s Back to the Future: The Musical (Workshop, 2019).
While training at the ArtsEd, he also acquired a few stage credits. They include Montel in Stewart Nicholls’ Jerry Springer the Opera (2016); Silky in Cameron Wenn’s The Life (2016); Ensemble in Paul Warwick Griffin’s The Mystery of Edwin Drood (2017). He also took the stage as an Ensemble in The Olivier Awards 2016.
TV:
On-screen, Irish appeared as an Ensemble in Chris Evans’ TFI Friday (Channel 4, 2015).
Radio:
In 2015, he was part of Anthony Cherry’s Friday Night is Music Night on BBC Radio 2.
