Cameron Bernard Jones
Cameron Bernard Jones, based in Greater London, is a professional musical and opera artist with a good deal of experience performing across different parts of the world. He is currently in TINA: The Tina Turner Musical at the Aldwych Theatre as Craig Turner/Ensemble. His experience involves voice over work too.
Training:
Cameron trained at the Northwestern University – Bienen School of Music, Voice and Opera Performance in the USA from 2006 to 2010.
Theatre:
He has been in several musicals including the Oratorio World Premiere of Tamar of the River at the NY Theatre Barn (USA) in 2013, playing Papa; Showboat at the Landestheatre Linz in Austria (2014) where he played Joe/Charlie; Hairspray at the Buhne Baden in Austria (2015), appearing as Gilbert; Out of This World at the Ye Olde Rose & Crown Theatre (UK) in 2016, playing Jupiter; Motown the Musical at the Shaftesbury Theatre in 2017, where he played Melvin Franklin/Ensemble; Motown the Musical at the Shaftesbury Theatre in 2018, appearing as Melvin Franklin/Ensemble, as well as being the Dialect Coach.
Cameron also worked in various opera shows such as Porgy & Bess (2014) at The Princeton Festival (USA) playing an Ensemble; he has also worked in the same show by different directors at the Det Kongelige Theatre in Denmark (2014) as Undertaker/Dance Captain, at the NY Harlem Theatre during the show’s European Tour (2015) as an Ensemble/Featured Dancer, and the Spoleto Festival USA in 2016 as Undertaker.
Music:
Being an expert musician, he was a Featured Soloist at the Harlem Lyric Theatre & Opera Ensemble Concert Tour in Argentina (2012); Featured Soloist at the Harlem Jubilee Singers Concert Tour in Chile (2012); Porgy in Porgy & Bess at the BarnArts Center for the Arts in the USA (2013); Bass (singer and member) in The Magnets: Audiocity at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival (2016).
