Clare Halse

Born 9th November 1987, Clare Halse is a highly-skilled British actress and singer from London, Hertfordshire. While she has numerous credits in theatre, she is also adept at tap, jazz, ballet, Greek, contemporary, pas de deux, point, and national dancing. Clare also loves rollerskating, athletics, running, swimming and climbing. Probably best known for Gypsy: Live from the Savoy Theatre and 2nd Street: The Musical, she is soon to appear in Hello, Dolly!

She went to the Arts Educational Schools, London.

Clare has an extensive list of theatre credits to her name including Kathy in Singin’ In The Rain at the Theatre du Chatelet; Peggy Sawyer in 42nd Street at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane; Cover Mrs Teavee and Cherry Sunday in Charlie And The Chocolate Factory at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane; Majorie May/cover Dainty June in Gypsy at the Chichester Festival Theatre; Majorie May/Toreadorable and cover June in Gypsy at the Savoy Theatre; Miss Dorothy in Thoroughly Modern Millie at the Kilworth House Theatre; Tweedle-Dee/cover Teenage Fiona in Shrek: The Musical at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane; cover Zaneeta in The Music Man at the Chichester Festival Theatre; Liza in Peter Pan, A Musical Adventure at the West Yorkshire Playhouse; Amber Von-Tussle in Hairspray in the National Tour; Wendy in Peter Pan at The Grimsby Auditorium.

She has also worked in Frozen (Workshop Peter Darling); A Good Thing Going – Simply Sondheim with The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra at the Cadogan Hall.
