Emma Salvo
Emma Salvo is a London-based singer and actress who has worked extensively in theatre. She is currently playing Janice and Others in the 2019 run of Come From Away at the Phoenix Theatre, London.
Training:
Emma attended the Royal Academy of Music for a PG Diploma in Musical Theatre and LRAM Vocal Coach. She also earned a BA degree in Acting from the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts.
Theatre:
Her roles in stage shows and musicals include Ursula in Julia North’s Much Ado About Nothing by Page-2-Stage Productions (2010); Mother/ensemble in Phil Rowntree’s Sincerely Mr Toad in the Selladoor UK tour (2013); Shirley inn Columbus The Musical at the Royal Caribbean (2016); Jan in Jason Capewell’s Grease The Musical by David Ian Productions at the Royal Caribbean (2016); God in Benji Sperring’s Holy Crap The Musical at the King’s Head Theatre (2017); Sarah n Benji Sperring’s The Toxic Avenger by Aria Entertainment at the Arts Theatre (2017)and Janice and Others in Christopher Ashley’s Come From Away at the Abbey Theatre, Dublin (2018).
While training at the Royal Academy of Music, she played Carla in Karen Rabinowitz’s City Of Angels (2012) and Miss Kreplinski/Nurse in Matt Ryan’s Promises, Promises (2012).
Opera:
In opera, she has acted as a performer in Laura Jayne Bowler’s Avant Cabaret (2010) and Girl in Laura Jayne Bowler’s The Sandman by Riverside Studios at the Size Zero Opera.
Cabaret:
Her credits in cabaret include Soloist in George Hall’s The Amazing Mr Berlin at Jermyn Street Theatre (2012); Guest Singer in Dougal Irvine And Guests at the Landor Theatre (2013); Guest Singer in Stephen Sondheim Archive Launch at the Rose Theatre, Kingston (2013)
Other Credits:
Among her other performances are the roles of Fairy Crystal in Tony Casement’s Sleeping Beauty (pantomime) at the Mercury Theatre (2013) and a performer in the comedy Newsrevue at the Canal Café Theatre (2014).
