Hadley Fraser

Hadley Fraser, born as Robert Hugh “Hadley” Fraser on 21st April 1980, is an English singer and stage actor. His West End debut happened with Les Miserables where he played Marius. He has worked in various West End productions and also played Gareth in an episode of Doctor Who in 2006. His notable works include the role of Raoul in The Phantom of the Opera at the Royal Albert Hall in its 25th Anniversary staging.

In 2012, he became a Patron of the Performance Preparation Academy theatre college, UK. A year before that, he became an ARAM (Associate of the Royal Academy of Music). Fraser holds a Postgraduate Diploma from the Academy.

Hadley was alongside Tom Hiddleston in the Donmar Warehouse production of Coriolanus. He also appeared as the Army General of the National Guard in the film adaptation of Les Miserables.

His list of theatre credits includes Les Miserables (Palace Theatre, 2002-03); Peter Pan (Savoy Theatre, 2003-04); The Shaughraun (Abbey Theatre, 2004); Longitude (Greenwich Theatre, 2005); Assassins (Sheffield Crucible, 2006); My Fair Lady (Larnaca Amphitheatre, 2006); The Pirate Queen (Broadway, 2006-07); City of Angels (Donmar Warehouse, 2014-15); The Deep Blue Sea (Chichester Minerva Theatre, 2019) and The Antipodes (West End, 2019).

TV:

Fraser has worked in many television productions including The Fresh Beat Band (2009-10); Les Miserables in Concert (2010); Phantom of the Opera (live adaptation, 2011); Shackled (2012); Coriolanus (National Theatre Live, 2014); Sons of Liberty (2014); Holby City (2015); The Legend of Tarzan (2016); Young Frankenstein (Garrick Theatre, 2017-18) and All is True (2018).

Music:

He is also a well-known musician. He released his EP “Just Let Go” in August 2014. Apart from that, his vocals also feature on Scott Alan LIVE and Scott Alan’s Keys. He also writes music in the band “Sheytoons”.
