Kim Ismay
A British singer and actress, Kim Ismay was a member of the Royal Shakespeare Company. Born on 23rd March 1961, she is renowned for her performance as Baroness in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Ismay also played Madame Morrible in Ireland, UK & International tours of Wicked, and Tanya in the London stage production of the musical Mamma Mia! She is also a regular, popular radio guest.

Kim graduated with a BA Degree in Performing Arts from the University of Kent.

Her extensive work in theatre includes Joanna in Sunset Boulevard (original London production, 1993); the Royal Shakespeare Company productions of The Comedy of Errors (1992-93), The Wizard of Oz (1988-89) and Kiss Me, Kate (1986-87); Stop the World – I Want to Get Off at the Lyric Theatre (1989); Cabaret at the Strand Theatre (1986); How the Other Half Loves (2009); Noises Off (2009); Next Door’s Baby (2008); Baroness Bomburst in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (2008 and 2009-10 UK Tours); Madame Morrible in the West End production of Wicked. Tanya in Mamma Mia! at the Novello Theatre, Prince of Wales Theatre and Prince Edward Theatre.

Kim has also amassed credits from her work on television. These include Not Going Out (2012), EastEnders (2007), The Sound of Musicals (2006), The Bill (1994-2006), Bob Martin (2000), London’s Burning (1998), Never the Twain (1991) and was interviewed for the documentary Super Troopers: Thirty Years of ABBA (2004).

Kim has recorded for Silk, Next Door’s Baby, Scheherezade, Travellers, Evita, Jesus Christ Superstar, The Wizard of Oz, Kiss Me Kate, and Cabaret.

She appeared as a solo cabaret artist in several galas and international events. These include New Players Theatre, Brighton Centre, Landor Theatre, Café de Paris, The Pheasantry and Langham Hilton being a part of the Dining with Divas season.
