Laura Friedrich Tejero

Laura Friedrich Tejero is a professional performer and lyricist, raised in Spain before moving to Vienna. She trained in Musical Theatre at the University of Music and Arts of Vienna.

 

Theatre:

Her credits include originating the role of Heather in the Green Day American Idiot Musical in Germany; Rosalia, Anita and Consuelo in West Side Story at Sommerfestspiele Schwerin & State House Opera of Hanover, Germany; Ensemble, understudy Mistress in Evita in Vienna; Artus Excalibur (Vienna); Sophie Weber in Mozart! The Musical (Vereinigte Buhnen Wien); Annette in Saturday Night Fever (Musicalsommer Amstetten); Ensemble in On Your Feet at the Curve Leicester, London Coliseum and national tour.

While training, Laura played Nina Rosario in her original German translation of In The Heights and Aviat-Trix in The Drowsy Chaperone

Other Credits:

She also works as a lyricist for various Berlin-based publishers like Rodgers & Hammerstein, as well as Disney Germany. Her works include Tangled, Keep Hope Alive, Altar Boyz, and In The Heights among the many other Disney Channel series. Just before Hamilton opened in Broadway, Laura had the opportunity to work with Lin-Manuel Miranda, whom she considers her idol.
