Laura Medforth

Laura Medforth is a British performer from North Yorkshire. She started her career when she was 12, attending the Sylvia Young Theatre School with a scholarship. Later, she trained at the London Studio Centre with a Cameron Mackintosh scholarship. She is the recipient of the Lia Williams award for the most outstanding performer.

 

Theatre:

Laura’s West End credits include Ensemble in Robin Hood at the Piccadilly Theatre, Burelli Sister in The Rat Pack at the Savoy Theatre, and The Madame in Les Miserables at Queen’s Theatre.

Apart from this, she has been part of several theatre shows. She played an Ensemble in Children’ Royal Variety Performance at the London Palladium, the title role in Cinderella at the Victoria Theatre Halifax and Aladdin at the Hull New Theatre, Ensemble in My Fair Lady at the Perth Rep Theatre, Ensemble in Oklahoma at the Perth Rep Theatre, the title role in Snow White at the Kenneth More Theatre, Alice Fitzwarren in Dick Whittington at the Kenneth More Theatre, Ensemble in Disney’s Beauty And The Beast in the No.1 Tour, Burelli Sister in The Rat Pack in the UK and European Tour, Miss Wellbelove in Acorn Antiques in the UK Tour, Miss Lark in Mary Poppins in the No. 1 Tour.

TV:

Her television credits include French Music Student in Suspicious Circumstances (Granada Television), Fiona in Newsnight (BBC), Sarah MacDonald in Sibling Rivalry (Double Exposure), Natalie Dixon in Doctors (BBC), Nurse in Peak Practice (Central Television), and Naomi Stevenson in Heartbeat (ITV).
