Louise Francis
Louise Francis is a professional theatre actress and singer who is currently playing an Ensemble in Beautiful – The Carole King Musical.
Training:
Louise graduated from the Guildford School of Acting with a degree in Musical Theatre (2015-18).
Theatre:
Her musical theatre credits include Ensemble/first cover Dionne/Chrissy/second cover Hud in the UK tour of Jonathan O’Boyle’s Hair (Aria Entertainment, 2019) and Lucille/Shirelle in the UK tour of Ed Goggin’s Beautiful: The Carole King Musical (Mark Rubinstein Ltd, 2020).
Her acting credits during her time at the Birmingham Ormiston Academy include Fraulein Knuppledick in Ben Occhipinti’s Spring Awakening (2015); Beth in Stephen Whitson’s Little Women (2015);
While training at the GSA, she played Emily Arden in Stephen Barlow’s State Fair (2017); Lorna/Betty/Atta Girl in Graham Gill’s Bullets Over Broadway (2017), Dionne in Tim Luscombe’s Hair (2018) and Frou Frou in Chrissie Cartwright’s Cats (2018).
Workshops:
Louise has been part of several workshops including Sarah Middleton’s Pygmalion (2016) as Mrs Pearce; Dafydd Lansley, Cornay and Denman’s Invision (2016) as an Ensemble; Darren Tunstall’s Cymbeline (2016) as Cornelius and Christian Durham’s Spring Awakening (2017) as Fray Bergman/Fraulein Knuppeldick. She was involved in all of these workshops when studying at the Guildford School of Acting.
Concerts:
She was a Vocalist in Alex Parker’s Jule, Jerry And Steve at the Birmingham Ormiston Academy and Maria Friedman’s The Oliviers In Concert at the GSA.
