Louise Redknapp
Louise Elizabeth Redknapp is a London-based singer, songwriter and media personality born in 1974. She was a member of the girl-band Eternal with which she rose to fame. She started her solo career soon after, creating 12 Top 20 singles. Her songs include the super-hits Stuck in the Middle and Naked. She went on to sell more than 15 million records worldwide and 5 million in the UK. In January 2020, she released her first studio album in almost two decades entitled Heavy Love.
Other than music, Redknapp was a judge on UK’s So You Think You Can Dance and she has presented various television shows. In 2004, she became FHM’s Sexiest Woman of the Decade. In 2016, she amazed the world with her prowess in dancing and reached the finals in the 14th edition of BBC One’s Strictly Come Dancing.
In 2017, she made her professional theatre debut when she starred as Sally Bowles in the UK tour of Cabaret. She is a part of 9 to 5: The Musical running in 2020. Redknapp has also been the face of campaigns for Nintendo Wii, Flora and Boots.
