Mared Williams is a singer and songwriter from Llannefydd, North Wales. She made her West End debut playing an ensemble in Les Miserables at the Sondheim Theatre.
She trained at The Royal Academy of Music and graduated with a Master’s degree in July 2019.
New to the theatre industry, Mared has appeared in a few shows like Sweeney Todd at Llangollen International Eisteddfod as an Ensemble; Hwn Yw Fy Mrawd at the National Eisteddfod as various characters; Y Tylwyth as Elen.
While training, she appeared as Angelique in Songs From A Hotel Bedroom, Mary in Merrily We Roll Along, Kate in The Wild Party, and Waiting Somewhere.
Mared has worked in several other projects to date. She has a solo album comprising original music, in association with I Ka Ching Records, and was also involved in several concerts around the world including Australia.
In 2018, she won the International Voice of Musical Theatre at the Llangollen International Eisteddfod. As part of the prize, she teamed up with hundreds of talented performers in the Gold Coast Eisteddfod’s Musicale.
