Matt Jones

Matt Jones is a professional actor and dancer based in London. He has extensive experience both on stage and screen. He is working as a Swing and Assistant Dance Captain in Pretty Woman: The Musical.

 

Training:

He trained at the Laine Theatre Arts and also attended the Sylvia Young Theatre School.

Theatre:

Matt’s West End credits include playing Cliff and Ensemble in We Will Rock You at the Dominion Theatre and Ensemble in Charlie And The Chocolate Factory at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane. His other theatre works include appearing as an Acrobat and Dancer in Dick Whittington at Capitol Theatre, Ensemble in Peter Pan at First Family Entertainment, Featured Dancer in Best Of Musical Gala 2012, Arena Tour in Germany, Chistery and Ensemble in Wicked, Mika Costa in A Chorus Line at Tel Aviv Performing Arts Center, Fender in Hairspray at the Leicester Curve Theatre, Indio in West Side Story at Salzburg Festival, Inner Sanctum at the Royal Opera House, Dancer for Pet Shop Boys, General Nikko in Wizard Of Oz at the Pitlochry Festival Theatre, Mungojerrie in Cats at the Kilworth House Theatre, and Dance Swing in The Mikado at the London Coliseum.

On television, he has appeared in various shows for Disney Channel UK, Channel 4 and TRTL; X Factor (SYCO, ITV), Strictly Come Dancing (BBC), ITV All Star Musicals 2019, and Pet Shop Boys: Live in Hyde Park (BBC) are some of his other work.
