Mica Townsend

Mica Townsend is a 23-year old British performer from Manchester. She has become renowned in the English theatre circuit as an acclaimed singer, dancer, and actor. Mica Townsend received her training in musical theatre from New York Film Academy and has a degree in Professional Musicianship from BIMM Manchester. Apart from West End musicals, Mica performs in various concerts and has been featured in numerous albums. She has also appeared on television. She made her debut in the West End with the musical Taking Care of Elvis and later shot to fame with her Thriller Live concert performance. Currently, she is a part of the new Beautiful—The Carol King Musical cast.

Mica’s theatre credits include Thriller Live (West End and UK Tour), Taking Care of Elvis (UK, Ireland, and International tour), and Beautiful—The Carole King Musical (UK Tour).

Concerts:

Mica has appeared in various concerts including The Libertines (SOMEWHERE festival), House & Garage Orchestra, Hacienda Classics (UK Tour), Errol Brown of Hot Chocolate (UK Tour), Adam Green (European/USA Tour), and GORILLAZ (Manchester Opera House). She featured in albums like Foals (Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost parts 1 & 2) Paul Heaton & Jacqui Abbott (Wisdom laughter and Lines).

She has TV credits in the shows No Offence, Silent Witness, and It’s Christmas Live from The Royal Albert Hall.
