Natalie McQueen
Natalie McQueen is a well-known singer, actress and dancer. Her remarkable performances in several West End productions in the UK – like Wicked, Kinky Boots and 9 to 5: The Musical – made her popular among theatre lovers.
Training:
Born in Dagenham, Essex, McQueen trained herself at CPA school, followed by CPA studios. Both are branches of Colin’s Performing Arts Group.
Theatre:
She has worked extensively in Les Miserables at The Palace Theatre, London, appearing as Young Eponine (2002); Chitty Chitty Bang Bang at The London Palladium, as the sewer child Eva (2002); Samantha and Virginia in Bluebirds (Above the Stag Theatre, 2011); ensemble in Rent (Greenwich Theatre, 2012); ensemble in Rent (Greenwich Theatre, 2012); Isle in Spring Awakening at the Greenwich Theatre (2012); cover Florence Vassey, Angelo St Angelo in Chess at the Union Theatre (2013); ensemble, 1st Cover Elphaba in Wicked (Apollo Theatre, 2013, 14); Alternate Sara understudying the Narrator (lead roles) in Murder Ballad at Arts Theatre (2016); Nessarose (emergency standby) in Wicked (Apollo Victoria, 2017); this time as emergency standby of Elphaba in Wicked (Apollo Victoria, 2017); Eponine in Les Miserables (Pimlico Opera, 2017); Dinah in Starlight Express (The Other Palace, 2017); Lauren in Kinky Boots (Adelphi Theatre) and as Doralee in 9 to 5: The Musical at The Savoy Theatre, London in 2019.
Workshops:
She was in the workshop of Jerry Mitchell’s Becoming Nancy as Chrissie Starr. Music was by George Stiles and Lyrics by Anthony Drewe.
Music:
You can hear her singing in the Original London Cast Recording of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. That aside, she is also the lead vocalist and songwriter for the rock band Farewell City.

McQueen was also the UK jury industry judge for The 2013 Eurovision Song Contest.
