Natasha Ferguson
Natasha Ferguson is a musical theatre performer who re-joined the cast of Wicked recently, playing Nessarose/Cover Glinda. Upon her training, she has been part of a few theatrical shows, apart from which she has also worked in television, radio and live concerts. Natasha excels in ballet, street jazz, pas de deux, jazz dancing, contemporary singing and dancing.
Training:
She trained at the Arts Educational Schools, London, graduating in the summer of 2013.
Theatre:
Her theatre credits include playing an ensemble in Ian Marr’s Cinderella (Jordan Productions); ensemble/first cover Elphaba and Nessarose in Joe Mantello’s Wicked in the UK and Ireland tour (Playful Productions), reprising the roles again in the UK and International tour of Wicked, and second cover Dorothy Brock in Mark Bramble’s 42nd Street at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane.
While training, she garnered stage experience by playing Mrs Turnbull in Luke Shepherd’s Betty Blue Eyes; Pilar in Adam Penford’s Legally Blonde, and Logainne in Thom Southerland’s The 5th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.
TV:
Her work in television involved Hans Herbots, New Pictures For Sky One, COBRA and PC Sarah Jarvis.
Radio:
Natasha is also heard in Anthony Cherry’s Friday Night Is Music Night on BBC Radio 2.
Concerts:
Having trained in music, she has also appeared in several concerts from time to time, including the Suzanne Thomas-directed the 2011 Olivier Awards, 2012 Olivier Awards, and Russel Labey’s Guys And Dolls.
