Nicholas McLean

Nicholas McLean is a professional actor with several West End and International theatre credits. He is currently starring as Boq in Wicked.

 

Training:

McLean trained in Musical Theatre at the Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, London.

Theatre:

Among his theatre credits is Baxter in the Tale of Mr Tumble at the Manchester International Festival; TJ in Sister Act at the Gordon Craig Theatre; The Doctor in The Book of Mormon at the Prince of Wales Theatre; Henri/ensemble in South Pacific at St James Concert Hall, Guernsey; Benny is Pied Piper at the Cornerstone Arts Centre, Didcot.

While in training, he has worked in several stage projects, including credits like the ensemble in My Fair Lady; Hatch/Carter in The Sea; Claudio in Measure for Measure; Old Shepherd in The Winter’s Tale; Jim Conley in Parade; Phil in Chick; ensemble in Curtains; Roger in Grease.

Mclean is Baxter in CBeebies’ The Tale of Mr Tumble.

Other Credits:

Apart from acting on screen and stage, he was Georgio in The Astonishing Times of Timothy Cratchit (Page to Stage – Workshop) and Pepper in Mamma Mia! The Immersive Experience at du Arena, Abu Dhabi.
