Oliver Boot

Born in London in 1979, Oliver Boot is an English actor currently appearing in Beautiful – The Carole King Musical. He has acted both on stage and screen, amassing a long list of theatre credits.

 

Training:

He trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art.

Theatre:

Some of Oliver’s theatre credits are Jamaica Inn, Tartuffe, Hayfever, Three Musketeers, In Extremis as Abelard, Antony And Cleopatra, the European premiere of Finding Neverland at the Leicester Curve Theatre, The Curious Incident Of The Dog In The Night, the national tour of Bedroom Farce, and Othello (award-winning tour). He starred as Ventidius in Timon Of Athens and Demetrius in Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream at Globe Theatre.

Film:

He played opposite Dominic West and Mark Strong in the blockbuster Disney movie John Carter. He was also part of an independent British film revolving around the 90s’ hunting ban, Blooded.

TV:

Oliver’s television appearances include the popular series My Family, Garrow’s Law, Holby City, Distant Shores, Hotel Babylon, The Time Of Your Life, As If, Two Pints Of Lager And A Packet Of Crisps.
