Oscar Batterham

Oscar Batterham is a professional London-based actor portraying Roger Davies in the West End production of TINA: The Tina Turner Musical, playing at the Aldwych Theatre.

He received his training from the Guildhall School of Drama.

Oscar played John Talbert/Son Who Has Killed His Father in The Wars Of The Roses by Trevor Nunn at the Rose Theatre, Kingston; Gontran in The One That Got Away by Laurence Boswell at the Theatre Royal Bath; the title role in Stella by Neil Bartlett at the Brighton Hoxton Hall/Amsterdam Festival; Flute in A Midsummer Night’s Dream by Laurence Boswell at the Theatre Royal Bath; Edward in Skylight by Tamara Harvey at the Theatre Clwyd; King Pelasgus in The Suppliant Woman by Ramin Gray at the Young Vic/Royal Exchange/Tour; Elder Thomas in The Whale by Laurence Boswell at the Theatre Royal Bath.

When training, he played the role of Oedipus in Oedipus Rex, Tommy Gunter in South Downs, Dr. Frosbisher in The Browning Version, William Cane in Her Naked Skin, Blokhin in Burnt By The Sun, Bottom in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and Nathan Detroit in Guys And Dolls.
