Peter Houston

Peter Houston Reid is a professional performer, born in Cumbria on 19th May 1989. He is currently part of Hamilton as an ensemble. He has had previous experience in not only theatre but also film and television.

 

Theatre:

Peter attended Phil Wintons Theatreworks (2008 to 2010) for his 3-year course of musical theatre and commercial training. He focussed on all the three primary subjects, acting, singing and dancing.

Theatre:

Among his theatre credits is an onstage swing in A Chorus Line: The Musical at The Lowry Theatre, Manchester (Pele Productions Limited, May 2010 – May 2010); 1st cover Peter Pan and dance captain in the Peter Pan musical at The Lowry Theatre (Pele Productions Limited, Dec 2010 – Jan 2011); swing and ensemble in We Will Rock You the musical at the Dominion Theatre, London (Nederlander Theatre, June 2011 – May 2014); dancer and vocalist on the touring musical An Evening of Dirty Dancing (Stage Acts Entertainment Limited, May 2014 – Oct 2014); Aaron Shultz in the musical Legally Blonde at the Kilworth House outdoor theatre (Jul 2015 – Sep 2015); ensemble in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory at the London Theatre Royal Drury Lane (Playful Productions, Mar 2016 0 Sep 2019); ensemble in Matilda the Musical at The Cambridge Theatre, London (Royal Shakespeare Company, Sep 2017 – Sep 2019); vocal swing and cover at Hamilton the Musical London (Cameron Mackintosh Ltd, Sep 2019).

Film:

Peter was the lead actor in the feature film First Time Loser (Ace Film Productions Limited, Nov 2010 – Feb 2011). He was also in A Love Story (Entertainment One), Trouble Sleeping (London Film Studio), and Detective.

TV:

On television, he appeared in The 2013 Olivier Awards, Blue Peter, A League of Their Own, and Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway.
