Rebecca Ridout

Rebecca Ridout is a professional singer who is also experienced in Opera and Musical Theatre. With a hefty amount of stage credits to her name, she is currently appearing in The Phantom of the Opera.

 

Training:

She completed her foundation training at the Guildford School of Acting and the Arts Education Schools, London. She is a graduate of the London School of Musical Theatre (LSMT).

Theatre:

Rebecca has worked in many theatre shows. Some of her credits are Chorus in Candide at the Cadogan Hall, The Phantom of the Opera at Her Majesty’s Theatre; Vivan in State Fair at the Cadogan Hall; Chorus in A Christmas Carol at the Lyceum Theatre; Chorus in Honeymoon in Vegas at the London Palladium; Belle in A Christmas Carol at the Castle Wellingborough; Mrs Catesby in Princess Caraboo at the Finborough Theatre; Passenger in Flight at the Opera Holland Park; Lesley in The Game – Re: ACT at the St James Theatre; Understudy Baroness Schraeder and Sister Sophia in The Sound of Music in its International Tour; Guest Singer in Paris Original at the St James Theatre; Sister Margaretta in The Sound of Music at the Leicester Curve; Helena in The Next Big Thing at the Edinburgh Fringe; Woman 1 in Tis The Season at the Jermyn Street Theatre; Somewhere Girl in West Side Story at the National Youth Music Theatre and Victoria Warehouse. Woman 1 in Love is Eternal at the London Theatre Workshop, and Karen Richards in Applause at the Bridewell Theatre, LSMT
