Sean Needham
Sean Needham was born in Leicester, UK. He is a famous 1975-born actor who is well-known for his works on every large-scale acting platform. He made his West End debut as Norman in Buddy – The Buddy Holly Story at The Duchess Theatre. During the final six months of the run, he was made the director of the show. Sean has a rock band which he formed when he was in Leicester. In 2018, he finished his work on the horror film Pandora.

He attended the Guillain School of Theatre and also went to LAMDA for a short period.

Sean has extensive credits to his name. Some of his stage performances include Norman Petty in Buddy at The Duchess Theatre, as well as the UK and European tours; Judas in Godspell; Don in Kinky Boots at the Adelphi Theatre; Joe’s Dad in Our House, Return to the Forbidden Planet; Prince in Cinderella at the Birmingham Hippodrome; Carnoustie in Sailor Beware!; Gaston in Waltz of the Toreadors; Simon in Hayfever; Demetrius in A Midsummer Night’s Dream at the Leicester Curve, and John Smith in Run for Your Wife.
He has also worked in Curtain Up on Murder, The Wizard of Oz, You Don’t Bring Me Flowers (UK tour), Bouncers, Our Man in Havana, Two and Two Make Sex, The Great Gatsby, Gunmetal Blues, and Wicked at the Apollo Victoria.
Film:
Sean’s work on-screen includes his role as Harvey in Pandora for Horrorwood Productions, a British soldier in Edelweiss for Bluekon Productions, and Don in Kinky Boots – The Musical for Steel Heel Pictures.
TV:
He has also worked in television including Hollyoaks (Channel 4), Children in Need (BBC), Playing the Field (BBC), Brassed Off (CH4 Films) and The Olivier Awards (ITV). He played the role of James Harker in Emmerdale (ITV) and Officer Baker in Crossroads (ITV).
