Outstanding play and production. I took my 18 year old daughter and we were both really knocked out with the script and acting. Such an intelligent exploration of the the issues and what it means to be religious. As a Jewish father I really wanted my daughter to hear all views and arguments around Israel and Judaism and this was brilliantly served up over the two hour play. Thank you.
Excellent, shocking, loving - a wonderful performance
Well written, well directed, well acted and very current. Definitely worth the money. Some touching moments and some amusing ones, a few of spontaneous laughter and not just for Jewish audiences (I’m not).
An extraordinary, sharp piece!
Brilliant production. The writing was excellent. Punchy, funny, moving. Great cast. The theatre is lovely - and the staff, even more so.
Excellent production. Very topical and witty - especially given the sensitivities around some of the subject matter in the second half (about the war in Gaza). Dialogue was very good and many funny points. The clash of cultures (American vs Israeli Jewish couples) was really interesting. Great acting too! Intimate setting at Marylebone Theatre made it all the more enjoyable. Great evening. Thanks!
Insightful, intelligent, entertaining & well acted. Recommend.
