Aladdin, a thieving street rat with a kind heart, falls head over heels for the beautiful, yet unhappy, Princess Jasmine of Agrabah, who has been pressured by her dad the Sultan to marry a prince. Soon Aladdin and the palace's power-hungry Grand Vizier Jafar vie for a magic lamp hidden in the Cave of Wonders. Robin Williams gives a hilarious performance as the all-powerful Genie, who grants Aladdin's wish to be a prince. But will the princess buy it? And how far is Jafar willing to go to get his hands on the lamp?

The Drive In is fully contact-free. Sound will be broadcast straight to your vehicle’s speakers (or through a mobile app if you don't have an FM radio) information on how to tune in will be available on the day. A top-of-the-range screen means you’ll have a great view wherever you park up. Snacks and drinks are available to order through our mobile app, and will be safely delivered to your car by our team of 1950s drive-in attendants.
With vehicles spaced 2 metres apart for optimal social distancing, tickets will be scanned through your closed car window - and we’ll be putting extra measures in place to ensure all our shows can be enjoyed in line with the latest government advice.

Please note: Tickets are priced per vehicle not per person. Latecomers will not be admitted. The Drive In is a fully contact-free experience. Please keep your window closed when our attendants scan your tickets, and stay in your automobile throughout. If you need to use the restrooms, please make sure to keep a 2-metre distance from others and we encourage you to wear a face mask. Restrooms will be cleaned between uses. Sound will come straight to your automobile radio – information on how to tune in will be provided before the show begins! If you don’t have an FM radio in your vehicle, you can bring your own portable radio or use one of the various radio apps available on smartphones.

New live shows and films announced for The Drive In at Troubadour Meridian Water
The Drive In at Troubadour Meridian Water in London keeps getting more and more exciting! The venue continues to add more films and live shows to its performance schedule for its highly anticipated summer grand opening. The cinema and live performance venue, which is among London's first of its kind complete with social distancing measures that make it fully COVID-compliant, will kick off its ambitious schedule on Saturday, 4 July 2020 with Dirty Dancing (1987).
Recently added to the drive-in theatre's movie showtimes are such major blockbuster films as Mary Poppins (1964), Moulin Rouge, Aladdin (2019), Mrs Doubtfire, Home Alone, Sonic The Hedgehog, Rocketman and 28 Days Later. The Drive In has also announced three live shows, including world explorer Sir Ranulph Fiennes in Living Dangerously, restaurant critic Jay Rayner in My Last Supper, and comedians Jamali Maddix, Fern Brady, Sean McLoughlin, and Tom Houghton in The Drive In Comedy Club.
