Boyzone 25th Anniversary and Farewell Tour

Boyzone released their final album, Thank you & Goodnight in November of last year and also announced that the arena tour to celebrate their 25th anniversary and tour the album would be their final series of concerts. The hugely successful boyband end say goodbye to their fans for the last time not in a massive stadium, but in an intimate series of shows at the London Palladium.

The band has made it clear that they want their fans to know how very grateful they are for their continued support over the last quarter-century. The band have recorded twelve brand new songs for their last album. A mix of styles, less focused on the ballads they became famous for, the album has been called their greatest work to date. With contributions from the likes of Gary Barlow, Calum Scott and Ed Sheeran, the album has been called the best new Boyzone playlist!

The album includes a special tribute to original boyzone member Stephen Gately. The song, ‘I Can Dream’ was a demo recorded for Gately’s 2002 solo album. However, the band have been able to rework the song laying their harmonies against his lead vocals to creating a fitting tribute to a much-beloved and missed man. Don’t miss your chance to catch one of the greatest boybands of our lifetimes before they play their very last set.

25 years of Boyzone!

The second most successful boyband in British music chart history, this Irish boyband came together in 1993 and released their first album in 1995. Though there have been several members of the band who have come and gone, the most iconic lineup is certainly Keith Duffy, Stephen Gately, Mikey Graham, Ronan Keating, and Shane Lynch.

Their second album ‘A Different Beat’ would make the band a worldwide smash hit. After six years, 3 albums, over 20 million records sold, and each of their 16 singles reaching the UK top 5, the band decided to split. After seven years the band reunited, originally with the sole intention of doing a tour. Shortly after the Back Again... No Matter What/Better Tour Stephen Gately died unexpectedly in his Majorca home of complications from an undiagnosed heart condition.  After Gately’s shocking and sudden death the remaining members of the band pulled together supported by an overwhelming amount of support from their fans. Following this tragedy the band would reunite and go one to release four more albums. In addition to their studio albums the band have released numerous singles and compilations and have cemented their place in the hearts of people around the world.
