Tickets for Radio & Juliet / Faun / McGregor + Mugler at the London Coliseum now on sale!

Fresh from their hit production of Gabrielle Chanel with Svetlana Zakharova, Russian production company MuzArts presents this magnificent triple bill on 7 and 8 December at the London Coliseum. This visually stunning ballet programme features the world premiere of an unprecedented collaboration between Wayne McGregor and fashion icon Manfred Thierry Mugler – a real treat for fans of both ballet and fashion.

Three dazzling pieces, two nights only!

This triple bill is headlined by the UK premiere of Radio & Juliet by Edward Clug, set to the hit music of Radiohead. This stupendous piece will see the main parts performed by Principal of the Mariinsky Ballet Denis Matvienko and English National Ballet First Soloist Katja Khaniukova.

Radio & Juliet will be followed by Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui’s 2009 piece, Faun, which reimagines Nijinsky’s classic L’après Midi d’un Faune from 1912 and has widely become a real modern classic in its own right. Faun will be performed by Anastasia Stashkevich and Vyacheslav Lopatin, both of whom are Bolshoi’s finest Principal Dancers.

The triple bill will be topped off with the world premiere of McGregor + Mugler, a contemporary ballet piece that features choreography by Royal Ballet Resident Choreographer Wayne McGregor. Fashion designer Manfred Thierry Mugler provides the design and art direction for the work, which will be performed by Royal Ballet Principal Edward Watson and Bolshoi Ballet Prima Ballerina Olga Smirnova.

I found the Radio & Juliet partially boring, great dance, but a bit more dynamic would make me feeling more engaged The Faun - good piece, I saw however the Diaghilev based performance with nikolai tsiskaridze, which I liked more The McGregor and Mugler part - wow! Well done- this made my evening!
