The much anticipated Shen Yun show 2025 held in Hammersmith left us disappointed, the advertising and reviews set our expectations very high, but the Shen Yun 2025 performance was colourful, entertaining but nowhere near exciting let alone magical. it was like watching performing arts school show for parents The dancers deserve credit as they were wonderful , but the background animations were a bit cheesy. The stories were not clear to me, despite being told I couldn’t make sense out of them. Nevertheless I did enjoy the show, the low rating comes from the price I feel it was overpriced and not worth it, I’m glad I’ve seen it, but probably will skip future performances.

Very colourful presentation. Keep it up!

Fabulous production. A feast for the eyes. Colour and costumes are outstanding. The interactive screen/scenery was truly magical.

Clare C

A beautiful show, with so much spirit and deep meaning.

Helen Bremner

A little disappointed, felt the music wasn’t as dramatic as I thought it would be. Visual effects very good. Costumes good colours. People sitting next to me had food with them to eat at interval which had a very strong smell, very unpleasant.

The show was fantastic the colour the dancing and the interaction with the back drop scenes The venue poor disabled facilities 1/ from the seating map and I wanted end of row for seats and where I got end of row but penned in 2/so many stairs no lift 3/wanted to be first in queue to avoid queues had to wait for an hour outside in freezing cold. So worth checking details before going

Attending the Shen Yun performance was an unforgettable experience. The show masterfully blends classical Chinese dance, vibrant costumes, and an awe-inspiring digital backdrop to transport the audience through China's rich history and folklore. The live orchestra, seamlessly combining Eastern and Western instruments, added a deeply emotive layer to the performance. Each segment told a unique story, from ancient legends to contemporary themes, with impressive artistry and precision. The dancers’ grace and synchronization were nothing short of breathtaking. Shen Yun not only entertains but also educates, offering a glimpse into traditions often overshadowed by modernity. While the pacing felt slightly repetitive in some moments, the overall experience was both inspiring and uplifting. Shen Yun is a visual and cultural feast that leaves a lasting impression. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a profound artistic and cultural experience.
