Irreverent, mischievous and yet strangely touching, I Can’t Sing! is the irrepressible new musical comedy hitting the renowned London Palladium. Go behind the microphones and under the judges’ desks at the biggest show on earth, as I Can’t Sing! exposes the (allegedly) true story behind The X Factor – a gloriously twisted tale of naked ambition, heartache, hunchbacks and a talking dog.
★★★★★ 'THE DADDY OF ALL MUSICALS. By far the best of the recent West End musical openings' The Daily Express
★★★★★ 'Top tunes, brilliant singing. One million percent YES!' The Daily Mirror
★★★★ 'Wildly eccentric, wonderfully funny. A big, popular hit blessed with real heart and great theatrical panache' The Daily Telegraph
★★★★ 'Glorious gags...inexplicable magic… a jaw-dropping ending' The Times
A bonkersly brilliant night out for musical theatre lovers of all ages, I Can't Sing! stars Olivier Award winning stage and screen actor Nigel Harman (Shrek the Musical, Downton Abbey, EastEnders) as Simon, with Cynthia Erivo (The Color Purple, Sister Act) and Alan Morrissey (RSC; Shakespeare’s Globe; Holby City; Endeavour) as love struck hopefuls Chenice and Max.
I Can't Sing! is written by much-loved comedy superstar Harry Hill (3 BAFTAs; 7 British Comedy Awards and a Golden Rose of Montreux) and award-winning composer Steve Brown (Spend, Spend, Spend; Spitting Image; Alan Partridge).
I Can't Sing is directed by Sean Foley (The Play What I Wrote, The Ladykillers) with choreography by Kate Prince (Into the Hoods, Some Like it Hip Hop) and set design by Es Devlin designer for London 2012 Olympic Closing Ceremony; Take That stadium tours).

As expected, the previously announced X Factor musical which is set to open next March had a further push this week, tying in with the show's return to our small screens. Ratings for the opening shows this weekend which saw previous judge the inimitable Sharon Osbourne return to the judging panel were up on last year.
