"In the heights" was the best new show this season More - it was the best new show for and by young people since "Rent" (which I produced here in Poland). A hugely impressive, energetic and talented cast. Inspirational! This week I also saw "Showboat", "Beautiful" and "Motown", as well as other shows at the National ("The plough and the stars", "Threepenny opera"), Globe ("Macbeth", "MND", "946") and the West End ("The entertainer:, "Bank robbery", "Groundhog day"). Your theatre is fantastic. Keep up the good work! I now live and work in Poland and I "blitz" London theatres 3 or 4 times a year. This week I attended 12 shows - yours was the best! Went to see 'in the heights' with my 18yr old niece, wanted something fun and not too heavy. This ticked the boxes, small theatre, all seats what good views. Actors and actresses were brilliant all worked very hard. Very good experience all round. All the attending staff seemed happy to be there, a great atmosphere all rounds!
