Starring Jason Manford Curtains tickets are here for Christmas!

Getting a new musical on is killer, and so is someone in the wings of the latest headed-to-Broadway musical. Jessica Cranshaw, the leading lady of the hottest new musical off Broadway, Robbin Hood, is front and centre but not in the way everyone expected-- she’s been murdered on stage in the midst of opening night. The spotlight is heating up and it’s time for local detective Frank Cioffi to start auditioning suspects.

Frank has his work cut out for him trying to find the killer. Everyone in the cast and crew are suspects and more than one of them has something to hide. Our detective is the perfect man for the job because he just so happens to be a huge musical theatre fan. But will Franks’ nose for crime and ear for music be enough to close the curtain on this case?

This Tony Award-winning backstage murder mystery musical comes complete with a cast list of unforgettable characters, songs that will have you humming along, and enough twists and turns along the way to keep you guessing until the final curtain falls.

Cast and Crew of Curtains

The London run of Curtains is confirmed to star Jason Manford (The Producers, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Guys and Dolls) who will star alongside Carley Stenson (Les Miserables, Legally Blonde, Shrek, Spamalot). They are joined by Andy Coxona as Aaron Fox, Rebecca Lock as Carmen Bernstein, Samuel Holmes as Christopher Belling, Leah Barbara West as Niki Harris, Alan Burkitt as Pepper, Martin Callaghan as Oscar Shapiro, Emma Caffrey as Bambi Bernet, Nia Jermin as Jessica Cranshaw, Adam Rhys-Charles as Daryl Grady, Mark Sangster as  Bernstein and Minal Patel as Johnny Harmon. The cast is completed by Kate Ivory Jordan, Charlie Johnson, Gleanne Purcell-Brown, Thomas-Lee Kidd, Samuel John-Humphreys, J.R. Ballantyne, Kathryn Barnes, Robin Kent, Pamela Blair and Benjamin Mundy.

The award-winning musical Curtains comes from the creators of such American Classics as Cabaret and Chicago. The original concept and book come from Peter Stone, whose death sadly prevented him from finishing the work. The book was finished by Rupert Holmes with music and lyrics by John Kander and Frank Ebb, respectively.

The show is directed by Paul Foster with choreography from Alistair David. Musical supervision and arrangement comes from Sarah Travis with sound design from Tom Marshall. Set design is provided by David Woodhead with costume design by Gabriella Slade. The lighting designer is Tom Mitchell.

Mr Burnage

A good jolly and entertaining musical

Mr Seymour

This show was booked as a surprise. I loved it - good story, costumes, dancers and songs. The Musicians in the pit we’re amazing- we went to thank them after the production. Jason is brilliant- we like his humour ( muddle class tour) and compassion ( ninjas) and his love of singing( karaoke king!) which is why we went to this show and we were not disappointed . Well done to everyone concerned well worth going to see this fun and entertaining production. Thank you to everyone concerned we had a lovely evening.

Fun production. Enjoyed the singing and dancing from whole cast.

Alison Grubb

Lovely sunny fun production. A credit to the cast at the end of a run, on a Saturday matinee, that they played it as if it was fresh and new to them

LIP

Great production with lots of "laugh out loud" moments! Blends murder mystery and musical very successfully.

MelM

Perfect easy to book.

Helen Jones

The cast have so much energy, the choreography is fantastic & we laughed so much all the way through. I knew nothing about this show before. We were given the tickets as a present & I’m so glad we had the opportunity to see it before the run comes to an end. The costumes and set were excellent. The whole cast should be congratulated, I’m sure they will be sad when this production ends this week- or maybe they are moving on- I hope so.
