West End Eurovision takes popular London theatre shows and pits them against each other as they battle to snatch the crown. The eight companies set to compete in this year's comeback include Aladdin, Kinky Boots, Mamma Mia!, 42nd Street, Hamilton, Young Frankenstein, The Phantom of the Opera, and Dreamgirls.
A surprise guest from a past Eurovision Song Contest will be making an appearance.
The show will be handing out three trophies, including The Champions, The Best Ident Movie and The Best Creative. Votes will be cast by text message and approved by a celebrity judge panel from each participating company.
West End Eurovision will be raising money to benefit HIV and AIDS projects in the UK and Sub-Saharan Africa. The proceeds will go to the Make a Difference Trust.
At the 2014 West End Eurovision show, Les Miserables and Mamma Mia! tied for The Champions and Sir Cameron Mackintosh made a guest appearance. The show is set to run on 22 April at the Shaftesbury Theatre before the 63rd Annual Eurovision Song Contest in Lisbon on 12 May.
