Coming Soon: The West End Return of Cirque Berserk!
Updated on 31 January 2019
The circus is coming to town...again! Cirque Berserk! will be returning to the West End for a limited run at the Harold Pinter Theatre from 19 April 2018 until 7 May 2018.
Send in the clowns! This show was created by Martin Burton, who is better known as Zippo the Clown and the founder of Zippos Circus. Burton has dedicated his whole life to the circus and considers it to be more than just a job, but a "way of life."
Cirque Berserk! is a real circus adapted for the stage and features music, lighting, and costumes that are different to what a normal circus-goer is accustomed to. Burton proclaimed, "It’s [Cirque Berserk!] designed for an audience who may not be drawn to the Big Top but still want all the death-defying skills that traditional circus brings."
This thrilling coup de théâtre previously ran at London's Peacock Theatre and boasts a spectacular cast of over 30 acrobats, dancers, jugglers, aerialists, daredevil stuntmen and drummers from all over the world who will perform marvelous and electrifying stunts with no safety nets! There will also be the ever-popular and crowd-pleasing Globe of Death performance in which the Lucius motorcycle team will cross each other in a cylindrical metal cage at breakneck speeds like aggressive hornets in a jar.
This is Cirque Berserk!'s fifth exhilarating year and its return to the West End also marks the 250th anniversary of the invention of circus. The show's limited run is guaranteed to sell out fast. Don't miss this bone-chilling, adrenaline-fueled thrill ride!
