Full cast announced for Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at the London Palladium

Full casting has been announced for the upcoming revival of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at the London Palladium. The musical, which stars Sheridan Smith, Jason Donovan, and Jac Yarrow, opens on 27 June 2019 and is booking until 7 September 2019.

Set to join the previously announced Jac Yarrow (Joseph), Sheridan Smith (Narrator) and Jason Donovan (Pharaoh) are Michael Pickering in the role of Simeon and Richard Carson in the role of Reuben.
Starring as Joseph's brothers are Jack Wilcox, James Ballantyne, Joshua Steel, Femi Akinfolarin, and Carl Spencer. Starring as the wives are Vanessa Fisher, Casey Al-Shaqsy, Emily Ann Potter, Thalia Burt, Harriet Samuel Gray, Kelsie-Rae Marshall, Georgina Parkinson, and Hannah Taylor. Starring in the role of Guard are Michael Cortez and Matt Krzan. The cast is completed by Ahmed Hamad, Matthew Rowland, Blythe Jandoo, and Lydia Bannister.

The revival of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat is directed by Laurence Connor (Miss Saigon, School of Rock) and features design by Morgan Large, choreography by JoAnn M Hunter, lighting by Ben Cracknell, sound by Gareth Owen, adult casting by Stuart Burt and children's casting by Joanne Hawes. It features music by Andrew Lloyd Webber and lyrics by Tim Rice.
Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat was first released as a concept album in 1969 and has run as a full-blown musical on Broadway, in the West End, and all around the world. Its most notable toe-tapping numbers include 'Go Go Go Joseph', 'Jacob and Sons', 'Close Every Door To Me', 'Any Dream Will Do', and 'There's One More Angel in Heaven'. The musical tells the biblical tale of Joseph, whose coat that's been gifted to him by his father allows him to see into the future, and his jealous brothers.
