What is Our Lady Of Kibeho about?

Set in Rwanda at Kibeho College in 1981, when a young girl claims to have been warned of the unimaginable from a vision of the Virgin Mary. She warns her friends of the supposed hell on Earth that is set to come but none of them heeds her warning. Her friends ignore her, and her school even scolds her, that is until another student claims to have seen the same vision. And then another. Suddenly the impossible seems to be true.

From the writer of Tina: The Musical, Katori Hall’s Our Lady Of Kibeho gives us an insight into the real-life events that had once gripped the world. This vividly theatrical meditation on faith and miracles brings together Hall and director Dacre together again after their collaboration on the Olivier Award-winning play The Mountaintop.
