Experience an immersive reimagining of Janáček’s classic opera Cunning Little Vixen at The Vaults where, through headphones, you’ll be transported into a full orchestral soundscape and follow the cast of singers through the tunnels. Walk around the uniquely designed space as the singers interact and sing right next to you, in this modern retelling of this famous opera.

Vixen is a young runaway girl on the streets of London. As she begs for help, she is abducted by a man known as The Forester. After a daring escape, she is no better off, and as she wanders - hunted, cold and alone - she realises that maybe this world holds no place for her.

Follow the cast of singers and actors through a labyrinth of subterranean tunnels, as you're immersed in a 360 experience that reimagines Janacek’s classic opera 'Cunning Little Vixen'. Through headphones, you’ll be transported into a full orchestral soundscape and deeply enveloping story.

Take a seat or stand in the action, headphones on or headphones off, you choose how to live the story.

Leave the scenography and nice voices, there is nothing else to see... Lots of talent, lots of sound possibilities not used as it could be. Unfortunately, it was quite disappointing. Characters left undeveloped, all performance is build in bits and pieces that doesn't go well in one entity to make it strong and memorisable. It tackles several themes all very human and sensitive, but doesn't reveal any of those. Some decisions are super straightforward and that makes it worse (if policeman is corrupt it must be drugs and guns... etc.), no intrigue at all, you can foresee 90 perc. Unfortunately, reminds soap operas too much...
