A Guide for the Homesick tickets are available now

Award-winning playwright Ken Urban’s new erotic thriller has its European Premiere at Trafalgar Studios 2.

Jeremy, a young aid worker, is making his way back home after a year in Uganda, he’s missed his connection in Amsterdam and is looking for a beer. Teddy is on a trip with a mate from back home who is nowhere to be found and he is looking for a friend for the night.

The two go back to a dingy Amsterdam hotel room together and try to decide if they can confide their deepest-seated fears in a stranger.

Starring as Jeremy is Douglas Booth (Jupiter Ascending, The Riot Club) alongside co-star Clifford Samuels (RSC, McMafia) as Teddy. Direction by Jonathan O’Boyle.

Do not miss your chance to secure tickets to A Guide for the Homesick in its limited run at Trafalgar Studios 2.

Loved it. Heartfelt and heartbreaking

customer

Good actors. Average scriptwriting.

Francis Curry

Very interesting script well directed. Very concise play with little props but able to convey both comic and tragic moments.Of course relied on the interpretation and performance of the cast of only two. These were excellent with perfect interaction between the two. Finally the close knit intimacy of the theatre lent much to the atmosphere. Thoroughly recommended.

Sofia Barbosa

Amazing play, incredible actors and a beautiful plot.

Rob Wilson

Daisy Arriola

I liked this play because it engages the audience a lot, the venue to start with was perfect for this end. It offers a variety of topics I would't normally think about and the actors were very passionate.

Joanna Kennedy
