The Wolf of Wall Street interactive stage play tickets now on sale!
Following overwhelming success with the immersive Great Gatsby London theatre experience, provocative memoir The Wolf of Wall Street by Jordan Belfort is now a full-blown immersive theatre experience, which is now open at the fictional Stratton Oakmont venue near the Hackney Buildings. The show will be adapted and directed by Alexander Wright, who is also behind the immersive production of The Great Gatsby.
2013 was a big year for Leonardo DiCaprio and for entertainment. In addition to starring in The Great Gatsby, he also portrayed Jordan Belfort in the film adaptation of The Wolf of Wall Street that same year alongside his Australian co-star, Margot Robbie (Harley Quinn in Suicide Squad). Now once again following in The Great Gatsby's footsteps, the Leo DiCaprio film The Wolf of Wall Street, which received 82 major film award nominations including five Academy Awards, is coming to Theatreland for an unforgettable interactive experience that you won't want to miss.
What to expect from The Wolf of Wall Street immersive experience?
The razzle-dazzle and glamourous interactive experience will run over four storeys at a yet-to-be-named venue and will feature muscle cars, business trader schemes, and the many vibes of 1990s' New York City. The show will include various bars and restaurants and audiences will have the choice to either trade with the wolf himself, Jordan Belfort, or work for the FBI to take him down. This unique gimmick ensures you'll get a different experience should you choose to attend more than once.

It was my first experience with play like this, so cannot really compare with anything, but here is my feedback: 1. We arrived 30 min prior the start as email confirmation said to collect tickets no later than 30min before the start. When we arrived there was no box office as such. Manage to grab one of the employees taking rubbish out who said to come back in 10min instead letting us in slightly earlier as it was pouring down rain... when we arrived queue was long and we ended up waiting nearly 10min in rain... 2. Once in we were directed to bars.. Omg! Again massive long queues! 3.Play was sort of okay, rather all over the place. We were told to follow actors etc but our group of 6 got completely separated and by sound of it we all missed some parts of the play... 4. It was Sooo hot everywhere! Poor actors... So based on this play I probably would not fork out £70 again... Especially as my friends told me that Great Gatsby was amazing... So before you buy tickets, read reviews!
The show is housed in an old building/house. You are moved between rooms depending on which set you are in. The audience are split in to two groups and the cast switch between you. The actors were very energetic and extremely amusing. The entertainment is helped by audience participation, albeit this is only small and you weren’t forced to do anything you didn’t want to do. I would suggest that if you haven’t seen the film recently then it is s good idea to watch it again before you attend. Thoroughly enjoyable afternoon.
Great experience.
It’s different, be prepared to expect something unusual and make the effort to get in to it if you want to get the most out
Compared to other immersive experiences this was poor - not enough audience involvement. Group too big. Too much walking up and down stairs rather than watching things. The story got muddled.
Ended half way through, I deserve to get my money back tbh, poor
Disappointingly the show was cancelled by the half time interval due to “technical difficulties”, although we understand there may have been an activation of a panic alarm. The announcement was made through a speaker and we were invited to stay to pay for more overpriced drinks at their bars without even an offer of a consolatory beverage which added to the disappointment. The show started a little awkward, logistics were a nightmare because staggered groups of audiences were being ushered around from scene to scene felt like the producers were trying to capitalise from cramming as many punters as possible each evening, scenes were interrupted by crowd noises from other rooms and some rooms were unacceptably hot. Some of the performers were very impressive, entertaining and lifted the spirits towards the end of the first half following other awkward attempts of crowd participation at the beginning, shame the whole show was cancelled just as we were starting to get into it. We have requested for a full refund to be made.
Very poor - they cancelled the second half
Highly entertaining. I did not know what to expect. I was enthralled by being able to interact with the actors like I was in the action with them. My first experience of immersive theatre and so glad I went.
£70 to walk around a building site for 2 hours and pay £5 for a 330ml can of lager. Dreadful experience
This was very bad. Complete waste of time and money. The individual actors were ok and trying to make the best of a poorly planned story. However, the overall story was disorganised, incomplete, and poorly communicated. Actors changed and broke character constantly while trying to sell you drinks. There were awkward pauses where two actors failed to reach the same location at the same time and the audience had to wait for over 15 minutes with one actor trying desperately to stretch for time. It looked like something some mates would put together for school. Not worth anyone's time or money.
