Solaris blew me away. The stage and sound design were both wonderful, and the story immersive, funny and thrilling the ending left me on the edge if my seat. The actors were also incredible. I loved the atmospheric tension that the play evoked, and I would strongly reccomend the play to anyone else who enjoys psychological thrillers
Nice use of small stage and multiple rooms from shutters, print out from osciloscopes cracked me up though.... Acting pretty mediocre, when Sartorious says "Bye solaris" I burst out laughing it was that bad, but she was best actor overall so that says a lot. Lightning and other special effects were spot on. Stayed mostly true to the book but under elaborated on some important ideas while at the same time bombarding viewers with too many concepts that readers would have had much more time to digest.
Execllent show! Exceeded my expectations and an insightfuk adaptation of the book
Amazing play, best i've seen for ages!
Solaris was a great production. Thanks
The dialogue was extremely poor, the plot thin and stretched impossibly over the 2nd half. Lead gave a repetitive, unconvincing performance.
I was wondering how they were going to create this as a stage production but they totally pulled it off. Outstanding acting and good reversal of some of the characters from men (in the book/movie) to women. An excellent show and a must see for science fiction enthusiasts!
Sci-Fi mystery, creative set and use of audio-visual complements, good but not great performances, stimulating
The play was okay, and acting was good. But it didn't leave very deep impression. Changing the sex of the main character was a good twist though.
