About A View From The Bridge
Beatrice and Eddie Carbone live in the beating heart of Brooklyn, where neighbourly support is expected. Welcoming their hard-working Sicilian relatives into their humble home, one would expect the family to unite. However, the very fabric that holds them together soon begins to unravel, with Eddie at its centre.
A blossoming romance between Eddie’s orphaned niece and a charming immigrant triggers a series of events that spiral out of control. Eddie finds his deepest, most forbidden desires teetering on the brink of exposure, and his explosive passion threatens to incinerate everything the family has painstakingly built. As passions rise, they all soon learn that some freedoms have to come at a terrible price.
Starring BAFTA Award winner Dominic West (The Wire, The Crown), alongside Tony award nominee Kate Fleetwood (Macbeth, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows) and BAFTA Cymru Award winner Callum Scott Howells (Cabaret, It’s A Sin) this all-star cast breathe fresh life into this timeless masterpiece of illicit and barely repressed sexual passion.
