The Tempest London tickets

It’s casting as dreams are made on. Sci-Fi legend Sigourney Weaver (Alien, Avatar) makes her West End debut as Prospero in The Tempest. Directed by Olivier Award winner Jamie Lloyd (Sunset Boulevard, Romeo & Juliet) this enchanting story of revenge and forgiveness is not one to be missed.

What is The Tempest About?

Widely considered to be Shakespeare's last solo play, The Tempest is a masterpiece of romance, drama, and fantasy.

A boat is thrown off course when a violent storm erupts. Bloodied and beaten, the shipwrecked crew seek refuge on a remote island, but it's not as deserted as they first imagined. Prospero, the banished Duke of Milan, has been living on the secluded rock for the past 12 years. The person who put him there, his brother Antonio, has just joined him.  Using magic to exact revenge, Prospero will go to extreme lengths to right past wrongs.

Blending themes of power, betrayal, love, and forgiveness, The Tempest is anything but smooth sailing.
