Evelyn Hoskins
Born in Yeovil, Somerset on 13th May 1988, Evelyn Hoskins is an English actress. She is best known for the portrayal of Shona Wark in Casualty, the BBC1 hospital drama series. She is playing Dawn in Waitress The Musical in London.
She made her stage debut at the Lyric Hammersmith Theatre, where she was playing the part of Thea in Spring Awakening (23rd January 2009). Among her other appearances is Piper in The Light Princess at The National Theatre Studio and Martha in The Secret Garden at Birmingham Rep.
She has appeared in the comedy “Misfits” as Lucy, a shape-shifter. In 201, Evelyn played the role of Nicky in the touring production of This is My Family. In the 2019 Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2019, she played Cecile Caldwell.
She was formerly married to Gavin and Stacey actor, Mathew Horne.

She graduated with a BA Honours Degree from the Arts University of Bournemouth.

For television, Evelyn has starred as Lucy in E4’s Misfits (2010); Kim Adamson/Jo Blossom in BBC series’ Doctors (2014-18), Shona Wark in Holby City (2010) and Casualty (2009-10); Halliwell’s Daughter in ITV’s A Confession and Liesl Von Trapp in The Sound of Music Live (2015). She was also in ThirtyNothings (TV series, 2017) and Kerry (TV movie, 2014).
