Very lovely service. Beautiful show.
Absolutely stunning! Sets are amazing, music beautiful, costumes awesome and dancing, of course, spectacular
Le Corsaire was fantastic. Incredible cabriole's & fouette's. Brooklyn Mack & Shiori Kase breathtaking dancers, as was the rest of the company. Can't praise the production enough.
Wonderful staging and production, beautiful costumes. I was only a little disappointed with some of the technique of the dancers. (I was a ballet dancer so am somewhat critical!)
I really enjoyed it!
I was a bit dissapointed with the Corsaire as it was not what I was expecting. I thought the production was not very good, as the sets were not very clever and most of the times they felt cheap and not very interesting. One of the screens depicting waves was particularly bad. I did enjoy the part where the ship was sailing in the sea though. Overly, I was expecting to be lost and absorbed by the play and the storytelling but there felt to be many distractions. At the beginning of the play the music was not in tune with the dancers, I think the music started too early and the dancers could not syncronise with the music for the first seconds which was a bit funny. I thought the lead dancers were not so great, although I did enjoy some of the lead male parts and the three female dancers who performed together and then seperately. However, what I thought that was really great were the costumes that really saved the night for me. They seemed to help build up the story and the atmosphere of the east in a fairy tale like way. The colours were very cleverly combined in each costume and all the costumes in each scene made a beautiful composition, and the fabrics and weights of the clothing were very cleverly chosen.
Amazing and extremely entertaining performance!!!
