Fame musical Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre tickets on sale now at affordable prices!

Fame the musical flew into the West End this autumn for its 30th-anniversary production! Now after a critically acclaimed, sell-out run at London's Peacock Theatre, Fame has been picked up by the Troubadour. Fame tickets for the Off-West End theatre run are guaranteed to be in high demand so don’t miss out on the new transfer as it heads to London’s Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre just in time for Christmas. Tickets for Fame at the Troubadour are now on sale!

What is Fame The Musical about?

Based on the 1980 film of the same name, Fame the musical has been stunning audiences and critics alike for thirty years! With eight West End runs (which includes the recent Peacock Theatre production) and two Olivier nominations, Fame is without a doubt one of the UK’s favourite shows.

Follow the students of New York’s School for the Performing Arts as they learn lessons on and off the stage. These incredibly talented students act, sing and dance with every ounce of themselves and along the way experience love and loss, success and failure, hope and despair. The show highlights issues that many young people are still struggling with like prejudice, identity, sexuality, love, literacy, substance abuse and determination.

London Theatre Review: Fame at the Peacock Theatre

Reviews

London Theatre Review: Fame at the Peacock Theatre

It was love at first sight when I encountered Fame as a TV series in the early 1980s; always rushing home from school to watch each episode. So imagine how excited I was to see Fame the Musical starring soul queen of the 1990s, Mica Paris.

Fame the stage musical is a separate entity to the TV series. It was derived from the eponymous 1980 film and recreated into a new stage musical by David de Silvia, who conceived the film. The stage musical was first performed in 1988; the book is by Jose Fernandez, with a new score by Steve Margoshes, retaining the original title song “Fame” from the movie.

Fame is now booking at the Peacock Theatre in London until 29 October 2019.
