What is Our Lady of Kibeho about?
In the early 1980s at Kibeho College in Rwanda, a young woman said she saw a vision of the Virgin Mary. The vision warned her that something horribly unimaginable was coming. Rwanda was going to become hell on earth. Her vision was ignored by her friends and brought a rebuke from her school, but then another student had the vision, and another and suddenly the impossible seemed to be true.
Katori Hall’s Our Lady Of Kibeho presents us with a haunting look at these true-life events that held the world’s attention. This vibrant theatrical meditation on faith and everyday miracles featuring moving original music sung live by an exceptional ensemble cast. The London premiere of Our Lady Of Kibeho is set to be an epic premiere that is not to be missed. This production reunites Royal & Derngate’s Artistic Director James Dacre with Katori Hall, following their collaboration on The Mountaintop.

The actors were fantastic.
Moving, distraught and believable. Thank you for the very compelling show! Hope it meant as much to you as it did for me. What does it mean to believe?
The seats aren’t comfortable it’s unfortunate
What a beautiful production. So funny in parts, but searingly sad in others. This play deserves a West End run.
Great play. Seats were a little cramped
Outstanding performance I have to say. Too my mrs out for her birthday and we both had an incredible time
Very engaging production, powerful acting and great humour!
This was an excellent piece of theatre. The set was beautiful, the music and live singing really ramped up the emotion and the acting was superb. Funny, touching, engrossing and beautiful. See this show!
The play was intriguing, challenging, funny (in places) and left you thinking. Well worth seeing.
Great performance. Thank you.
